My Health Timeline

Let me share with you the health challenges I’ve been through over the years.

In 2013, a bone in my skull started growing more than it should have, so I had to undergo surgery to remove it and replace it with a prosthesis. Eight months later, the prosthesis got infected. It should have been removed right away, but due to medical negligence, I ended up living with it much longer than expected.

By 2014, the infection came back, and I spent two months in the hospital receiving antibiotics.
In 2015, it happened again, and I have been struggling with recurring infections ever since.
In 2016, I was hospitalized twice, each time for two months, as the infections continued.
In 2018, another infection occurred. Finally, in late 2019, I decided to consult a different hospital. They discovered a more serious issue, and I was immediately operated on. The prosthesis was removed, and I spent several months recovering.

During that time, I lost my hair and looks like:

and it's not the worst, because now my skull looks like this:

But I’m doing great! I just need to be careful and avoid any head injuries, that's why I walk everywhere with a helmet. :)

Since then, I have been enjoying good physical health—mental health is a topic for another blog!

However, a few months ago, I started suffering from severe gastritis. I have been experiencing frequent stomach pain, bloating, and discomfort. Unfortunately, the tastiest foods have been the ones that hurt me the most—it’s so frustrating!

But, that's okay my friend. I'm Okay. I'm live, that's most important.
