After my last surgery, the doctor said that I should wait six months before getting a new prosthesis. However, I decided not to follow that recommendation. I told myself that I didn’t want to put myself at risk again, so I chose to take better care of myself instead. The doctor also advised me to lead a calm life, avoid being rough, eat healthily, and, most importantly, protect my head from any accidents or injuries.
When it comes to my gastritis, things are more complicated. My doctor recommended that I avoid dairy products and fatty foods. He also told me that I need to eat regularly, consume plenty of vegetables, drink a lot of water, and stay away from processed foods, such as sausages and sugary snacks.
Following these instructions is challenging, especially during the holidays, but I always try to find balance. I’ve been learning to plan my meals, cook healthier options, and make smarter choices. Although it’s not easy, I believe it’s worth the effort and I am taking care of myself.
